The first blossoms of the wild rhododendrons are opening around our clearing. Early May the forest is lit up bright magenta with these, and that is when we used to host our letterhead gatherings. Rick and Lola were always present and the rhodies made her smile big and she loved them. As they start blossoming I see Lola everywhere I look and miss her. I have not started looking for a coffee cup placed somewhere that I'll require a ladder to retrieve yet.
