Very Impressive indeed... I tell you, Fast Signs are always looking to expand, it would be wise to look at how they work their Stores....I was a Partner with the local Fast Signs Store here for about 4 years, that was a long time ago... is there a Market for Vinyl??? I think this answers that question...

Niel, When I saw these pictures, I had to laugh thinking back to the posts about Walmart and Office Max stores offing banners and cut rate prices. That work isn't worth it.
I'd like to see Walmart and Office Max get in on this action!

You know, I had to do some graphics for an airplane at one time, and there were so many regulations, worries about adhesive vinyls being stuck to the plane. For fear of it coming loose on the edges, etc., and coming off mid flight. Posing issues that it may get stuck or lodged somewhere that could case horrible results. I wouldn't want to touch an airplane wrap. But thats just me!

Cool, but I have to wonder why an airline would put some of that stuff on their planes?

Yes Dave, all the banter about Vinyl and how ineffective flat signs are is really getting old...I've seen some great digitally printed signs that will out perform a lot of 3-d signs any day... and of course that goes both ways.

I was just thinking, we haven't seen the end of all the possibilities to wrap something and make money at it. Where I live, a furniture store owner wraps his brick sided building every 6 months with a new advertisment, probably co-payed by (Ashley Furniture or Sealy Mattress) and its the size of a billboard.
I think we have to get out there and sell it! Wrap everything! How about Street wraps? Parking lot wraps at schools, hospitals, restaurants? Metal Roofs? You bet!

But why would you want to? Just because you can doesn't mean you should! Do you really want to see everything covered in advertising? I sure don't.
Remember Joni singing her commentary on "Paving paradise and putting up a parking lot"? Now we have to cover that in something else?
I know you weren't serious (or were you?) but I, for one, am getting tired of seeing so much darn advertising everywhere I look. Must be in the wrong business!

I'm kinda in the same boat with Theresa. Those wraps are very cool, but the same thing could've been done with paints....but (bottom line) it would've cost more.
In the Air Force, we were constantly shown videos of FOD (foreign object damage), and saw images of engines being destroyed by ball point pens or caps the airmen were wearing. We've all seen the huge amounts of research going into modern jets to prevent bird damage. It takes very little to throw one of those turbines out of balance. I worked at GE for awhile, where testing was going on, and got to see some of these engines come apart. It ain't purty.
I truly hope this never happens, and the chances are slim, but......
