Anybody recognize this font or is it a handpainted knockout script?

Sonny,
It doesn't look like a font style: more like a
"ad agency designer"'s attempt to tweek a style
to make it unique.

The sign shop probably made a pounce pattern and
made sure that both the "a" and "ll" and "k" were
perfectly matched.

That's my guess. [Smile]

Must be a font, it's on a sign I'm doing right now. I'm just copying an existing sign so I don't have the name.

It is a font. Will look for it on my machine. I recall using it years ago, but in Corel 3 or 5, so I bet I have it. I played on it by making those weird dash marks into eight notes and 16th for some musical thing. Will look for it.
