I spent the entire 3 days of New Year's weekend . . . working.
And was never so thankful for it.
You see, I needed a miracle. And had been praying for one.
Bills were SO far behind. After calling me on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, I finally returned the call to my loan officer on Thursday. Thankfully, I got his voice-mail. I left him a vague message - something about hoping the weather would break and boost my income . . .
I knew I needed a chunk of money fast. But there were no jobs bringing anything substantial. The City-Ads I'm working on paid several things, but could'nt catch-up everything that was overdue.
I was sitting in a local restaurant called Mr.Waffle. Similar to Waffle House. I had snagged a 'free' breakfast for putting a small vinyl message on the window; 'No Shoes-No Shirt-No Service'. I said, 'Well, Lord. It's all you. I'm out of options.'
A few minutes later, my cell phone rang.
Just out of the blue, a Letterhead called with a job! She knows who she is! Though we talk on the phone, occasionally, and been to a coupl'a meets together, this Lady had never called me to work since I met her in 2003! NOW she called! Could I come help out? - She had a tight dead-line, Monday, January 3rd!
The amount I would make for the weekend was just what I needed!!
I called my loan officer back. He actually answered this time and I told him the tangible news.
So, Friday mornin' I was on the road and workin' by 10am, and home Sunday night by 10:30 pm! And, Monday mornin' I was payin' bills!
Thanx Lord! And Thanx Letterhead Gal for your awesome Spirit!
Have squeegee - will travel.

Sometime in the future you will have the opportunity to do the same thing for someone else. And it will be at "just the right time". And then you will be blessed again.
