Hi all, there is a real chance I will be in the US from December 9th. For probably about a month, based in Loveland Colorado, but visiting both Omaha Nebraska, and Tampa Florida. I realize this is the "silly" season, but am really keen to visit sign shops that are into either hand carved or router carved dimensional signs. Would love to visit and "pick your grey matter". If this is possible, hey even happy to work on installs, do some gilding, painting etc. Not really into wraps, banners etc... just the dimensional stuff. Please let me know if you are open to visitors from OZ.
Cheers

Tampa is about the closest. As much as I would like to, chances are the others involve flights. Crazy how it is now cheaper to fly than drive with the cost of gas.
But I am sure there are plenty of "heads" in Nebraska and Colorado. Any "oh you should check out" (such and such sign company) would be appreciated if they don't visit here too often
Cheers

We are in Lincoln, Nebraska, about 50 short miles west of Omaha. We've only done small hand-carved stuff (we are a two person shop, my hubby and me) but would be happy to meet with you and show you the area, eat good food with, shoot the breeze, etc. An Oz visitor would be lotsa fun to visit with. What are you doing in Omaha?

Hi Gregg, I'm 10 miles north of Loveland and would love to have you come by. I can show you around some of the shops I know of and maybe even find some work for you while you're here (no promises, though).
We do dimensional work as you can see on our website and there are some guys in the mountains who do top shelf award winning stuff. (Do you ski?:-))
E-mail me and we'll start getting things set up for you.

OK, so things are looking up. Dennis, Bill, Joy, and Brian... you are all on my "got's ta visit" list. Brian I know Loveland, Fort Collins, Berthoud, Longmont etc quite well as this will be my third visit. I was once a double black diamond skiier, but sadly the knees just can't take it anymore. I have been to Estes Park, but never took too much notice of the signs, and Erin my wife has many pics taken last Summer. Hmmm thought it was "Signs of the Times"??? We are definately booked so US here we come.
