Looks like "est Coast ining Contractors" to me.
I'd use an M and a W that had less side slant, tighten up the spacing between the two lines of copy, and also reduce the size of the two lines so they fit tighter to the M and W.
I would also use a sans serif alphabet for the whole thing.

Just another take on it...Kinda going for the look of a shovel by including the "c" and a horizontal line for the handle...

Exactly what I thought about how it reads! I knew it, but wanted the imput still. I might go a different route and make the W/M a logo/symbol in a block with the name spelled out beside it or something like that.

Thanks

Geez! I hope the client doesnt see this, he'd probably want it on all his trucks rather than what he presented me to work on.

Tim, if you make the top and the bottom line two different colours, like a dark and lighter blue, it should immediately become easier to read because the WM will no longer look like and X.
Just another(late)thought.

I'm preferring your third one. I like keeping the logo as a separate badge for iconic identification and subliminal visual communication.

Thankyou to all for your imput!

I've had a tough time with the client on this one, as he had a certain concept in mind, and doesn't seem too willing to stray far from it. I know this could still get better, but I have to stop, and take the money and run at this point. I just dont have to sign my name on it, and it doesnt need be a piece for the portfolio.

I would prefer to see something more like the third one, but he wants to go with the middle, as it is more like what he wanted and his original concept drawing. I guess the W/M is to be like an "X marks the spot, mine here" thing. Color is to be only Midnight Blue, with alittle green in the snowcapped mountains.

First truck will arrive tomorrow afternoon, and he will be happy with what he wants and I'll be happy with a fist full of green. I just wish I could've saved more of my time and wasted less of yours had I known he wouldnt budge much. I'll still get $500 for the simple design, and have a happy customer, I guess that counts for something!

Thanks again.......
