It seems like I've had four Mondays already this week.
My problem now is that when I try to add an attachment to an e-mail it shuts down my internet connection completly and I go back to the directory panel.
I'm using SBC Yahoo on a Dell WinXP.
Any ideas?

Ray, Are you sure you're not using a Commodore 64?
Does the Yahoo site limit your file sizes? If so, it may just be shutting you down instead of giving you a warning. Try another type of file and see if that is any different, ie, PDF or GIF instead of JPG.
When in doubt... Close everything and reboot. Then try again.

Try loading a fresh verion 7 of Grisoft's free AVG virus scanning program, and let it run.
I found a month ago, that anytime I made a bid on ebay, the IE window shut down & I was logged off. I put up with it, not knwoing how to stop it. After a fresh AVG 7 virusscan I can't say it found any on this computer, but the problem stopped. Maybe it's a coincidence, but it worked!
PS edit to add- there's a free email program related to Firefox which is supposed to be really good. Could be worth a try.

Ray, I would call SBC, they are pretty good at solving the problems. I myself couldn't tell you what the problem is nor do I have an idea what it could be. But what I think is funny is that when you make the 877 932 4678 call you will be connected to India, but they speak english very well and can help you with your problem. Good luck, nothin worst then having email problems especially when you need it for business.
