Task Coach
I've been using Task Coach since July. This Time Management/To Do/Job Organizer is a perfect fit for my needs. You can divide your life into categories and add subcategories under them. There are note files attached where you can paste emails and list specifications, a place to add attachments where you can attach images or files pertaining to the job. It has an area to enter start dates, due dates, completion dates and you can set reminders.
When a new job comes in I assign it a number and name, add all the relevant data in the note section, attach any pertinent photos in the attachment areas and then break the job down into tasks as subcategories. As I complete them they are marked off and the categories change to green or are hidden ( your choice).
I could go on, but try it out for yourself, I'm betting that it will be the ticket for a number of you.

Kelly,
That looks like an interesting application and the price is right. This has always been an issue around here even with a job board. There was stock that I should have ordered last Wed and I'm finally getting around to it. Happens way too often.

The thing is, I'll download it, browse around a bit. . . and forget to use it. . .

That's my normal workflow. [I Don t Know]

Believe me I am all too familiar with that scenario, Bill. This one is doable, and because I keep my contact info for the clients I am working with on it as well as the specs for a job, I find myself referring back to it constantly. It is easier than hunting for lost slips or paging through a book to find where you jotted that info down, so it becomes the "easy" way over time.

With all of the "Doom and Gloom" stuff happening....

I am very happy to hear that some folks like Kelly and Bill are busy enough to need a "job tracking" app!! [Applause] [Applause]
