We were commissioned to reproduce a sign for a historical building. They provided us with this Photoshopped picture taken from an old photo of the original building. They asked that we duplicate the sign as closely as possible to the original. This was a bit of a challenge, as the original sign had a lot of design and font issues that I was tempted to fix. The building has been re-created at a local Historic Village to look like new, so the sign had to look new as well... No aging techniques. Here's the Dawgee in action: Here's the finished sign mounted in a wooden frame. The sign is 2 pieces of sheet steel mounted with old school slotted screws on a heavy wooden frame.
