I think I'm starting to get a little better with my airbrush. I'm still fairly new to this...I want to add more to this panel. What do you think I should do with it? It's 12"x12". What do you think of the airbrush technique?

you're doing just fine. Just keep "working it" until it's finished... then do 100 more! Practice Practice Practice!

The technique is fine.. I mean, with the airbrush you only have two strokes - the rat tail (varying lineweight) and the consistent weight line, both without heavy ends.
From there it's all being able to see how light falls on a subject, give the impression of texture, layout skill and imagination.
Maybe give your skull some cracks.. maybe some missing teeth.. or how about a section on top cracked and completely broken away, exposing some brain underneath.
Next one you do, give him a twisted, evil facial expression.

Mike- Thanks for the advice. I was thinking of adding some cracks, an eyepatch...maybe some aluminum leaf on a tooth? How about some dead hair like on the Tales from the Cript guy?
Also, are you suggesting some more "hard" lines. I'm finally starting to get some good control and will try that. Hopefully it will add some more dimension and definition.
