One of the Doctor's at Strong hospital Cancer Center has a new black Saab with vanity plates that read...

CHEMOSAAB (spelling?)

Clever, but just plain nasty!

That is disgusting. Nothing says "I make money from your misery" quite like that.

That is just reprehensible.

When I was little I was always sick, nothing tragic like cancer but always something. We had no health insurance of course, my dad had his own sign biz and I remember one day my dad making a comment to the doctor something like...So, I see I bought you a brand new Mercedes. To which the doctor replied, No, you actually bought my wife a new Jag.

Loser.

I didn't know that New York went to 9 letters, just in 1995 it was only 8. My shop truck then had HOTLINES and my street racer had RACEST.

Obviously a guy with a very screwed sense of humour.
In contrast, our local vet's plate is funny:

Has a whole section on offensive vanity plates, including official lists of banned plates. Lots of documents, very entertaining (as is the whole site)

Sorry, just don't find it offensive. Obviously he was going for Kimo Sabe as in The Lone Ranger. Don't see chemo as offensive. It is a tool he uses to save or improve his patients lives, not something he uses for fun to torture people. Chemo is not a bad thing, it kills the bad thing, cancer.

Great link Jerry,
guess I'll never get the 3M ta3 but got a good laugh from the complaint letters.

Guess someone could write the DMV a letter complaining about the chemo-jerk and get his revoked

About 25 years ago I used to listen to DJ Frasier Smith, who'd gotten fired from just about every radio station in the country for outrageous behavior. His own vanity plate read TOO HIP.
I made a sho-card to look like the Calif Blue&Yellow plate TOO HIP, highlighted and shaded, and the kid across the street from me asked to borrow it for a few minutes to put it on the front of his car just to take a picture. Well, he left it on there - running his real plate on the rear. After 3 or 4 months it was pretty well thrashed, looking more like a real front plate all wrinkled and falling apart...
He got a parking ticket in Pasadena - and the cop never looked at his rear plate == wrote it up for TOO HIP.
So I guess Frasier Smith paid a ticket for something he never parked in front of.

During the Nixon admin. I saw a van with FK NXN
possibly my fave

Oh - I almost forgot - a friend of mine got this one past the censors = FUNCOOL
He's Italian..... [Eek!] [Wink]

Speaking of Assman. There are 2 families around here, their name is Assman. They used to have a care repair business. They really were Assman after charging me for repairs they never did (brake job).
