Hi all

I have a project that requires a 24" round illuminated rotating globe. Any sources out there you can point me to?

Thank you very much!

Jeff - did you google "Disco Ball" ?
"globe" like a plain round ball or globe of the Earth?
plain white round glass or clear globe for vinyl?
or the white glass globe that goes on top of the vintage gas pumps?
ceiling hung or table mount?

Globe like plain round ball, either plain or globe of the earth. I can apply vinyl continent graphics if needed. Going to be mounted to top of sign, so base mounted.

Thanks!

Jeff - putting some thought into your project - - -
I am thinking that a "glass" globe will open the door for vandalism and breakage. How about plastic??

I suggest a light "tree" that will hold several CFL lights for internal lighting to keep the heat down.
you will also have to design your own rotating base - if the client really insists for it to turn.
if you make it stationary, his cost goes way down.
[as you know, anything that is motorized or illuminated is a maintenance item]

Thank you all!
I found one online: It is actually a lamp post globe made from plastic. I will attach it to a motor, apply the translucent graphics, and voila!
