Yep, I like it when I see movies made before 1990. I like it when they show towns, cities etc. and you see the signs. Hand painted, great looking windows, less copy, all that jazz. I'll even rewind a movie just to see the sign! Them were the days! I am sure glad I got to work for a while during that era.

Last weekend I watched an old Andy Griffith show and there were several scenes in front of a grocery store, window lettering, paper signs, show cards and all. Must have been a very fun and easy day for the studio set sign painter!
