Hey guys...I have a lifetime friend who is hand building a scale replica of the schooner "Bluenose".
He will soon need the lettering of the name. He showed me his practice attempt at hand lettering it and he had to admit he couldn't do it.
He contacted a local sign company about providing him with printed decals or weeded vinyl lettering and hasn't heard back from them in 5 weeks.
I am wondering if anyone here would be interested in producing a set of approximately 1/4" or 3/16" high white lettering. it could be either white cast vinyl or white print on clear vinyl. This is for a scale model and won't see the outdoor elements, so no laminate needed.
I would do it myself, but I am retired and don't have the equipment. But, I can provide the file in whatever format anyone could use.
OH!..Did I mention...I'd love it if it could be a "freebee". I'm talking about a chunk of vinyl that would fit into a regular letter sized envelope.
(Hoping to collect on a favour that I have done for others in the past )

I can do it from cut vinyl, but 1/4" is about the smallest, if it's a square font (no serifs), if you want. You can send a file to me at kottwitz.graphics@comcast.net

Hey Joe, cool video, but I doubt that the schooner is going to have a white rectangle on it. In fact after looking at pictures of the Bluenose schooner, that method isn't relevant.
