I met you in PA many years ago.. Your tall stature and gentle demeanor were most memorable. I've always respected your talent and contributions to this board.

All these nice words are starting to make me feel a few of you have sensed that I'm not going to be around much longer.
I don't hear nice words very often...from anybody...for some years now. Life can be funny that way. Just to let you know, your kindness is appreciated.

Nice design Phillip - and the white V in the logo almost does resemble a hearbeat blip - that vital sign!

Yes Don, I remember those days. I got into the chat room once in a while but I didn't have internet at home so I had to be at the shop in the evening to participate, so I never really became a regular.

Rusty, did you do that freehand, or is it a Vista-magnet ? P.S. I suppose a card-iologist makes cards, to that's appropriate... he could even make cards for sick people in hospital...

Or you could say that a company called Vital Signs might offer "show cardiology" as one of their services.
Ian suggested incorporating the EKG graph earlier which seems like a no brainer to me as well...I used it on the little joke card above...but maybe someone could seriously incorporate it into a legitimate logo...I gave it try...but suffered from a mental block that left me "font-less".

OK...I'm not a logo guy...I don't even know what font this is...I'm a Goudy guy...I just copied from above so things are not as crisp as they should be...in designing...generally I prefer a simple read without the bells and whistles...I purposely posted this pic small...when it's small I can better tell how strong or not the composition reads...it's like viewing a sign from a distance...how well does it hold up...simple strong color and contrast work for me on this one...even when small I can tell that this place is in the business of making signs...but it's mostly one's personal taste.

If you do decide on using a sinus rhythm line this is the one I used on the above joke card with your picture...probably a more interesting line.

That flat line under the VITALSIGNS...that would be Joe's...he said he once flat lined in the hospital...he then went somewhere in the after life but got sent back...something about owing too much money in this life...so they sent him back to pay it off...something like that.

This place is so inspiring! Between Letterville and Diet Coke, theres NOTHING that can't be accomplished! Thank you all for the great input and smiles.
