Just a little more info about the Walldog event I am helping to host next July 27-31. The site is up and running: Butler Walldogs and you can register online. Remember, there is no fee, your meals will be provided, and we will also have a brush vendor onsite in case you need brushes for Novacolours paint. We hope to paint 10 murals in 3 days, and there will also be a panel jam area and an auction. Hope to see you in Butler. Love....Jill

Awesome! Forgot to say that the nearest airport is Pittsburgh International, (PIT) about an hour away. Hotels and host families are still in the planning stages, and we hope to have some sort of camping area, too.

Having hosted a few events, I found I lost a month before and a month following the gathering. The fees associated were portable toilets and trash and food. Charging a fee to absorb the trash and food is reasonable. I'm glad I never tried to cover my time, which would have made a Letterhead gathering a business. You're welcome. I'm not that noble, Rick. Our Historical Society director saw the murals in Pontiac in 2012 and asked me if I would host a Walldog meet. She had to twist my arm at first, but I'm getting excited about it now. It's great to have someone else do all the heavy lifting! Craig and Sunset are the first two to sign up. I'm hoping that Craig will join my team, I actually get to paint at this one. Glad to see Pat and Dennis will be there too! When would be the latest date to sign up. I couldn't possibly commit early since my house is up for sale and if it were to sell within 30 days of the meet I couldn't possibly leave for a week with all the packing I would have to do.
