What's the going rate for vehicle wraps right now? Is there a base range determined by square footage that I could at least begin with. Would any of you who do them more regularily please shed some light on the pricing end of it for me.
Thanks so much! ~ nettie

Mike, is that an up to date SC pricing guide? Sure does seem too cheap on the install pricing. What Glenn posted was from 2008 and the price was higher than 4.00 per sq ft.
I do appreciate you looking it up for me.

Installs can take quite some time, if it's a flat surface it can be as low as 2bux a Sq. Ft.. on full wraps I find the install can be almost as expensive as the material itself.

Hi Janette, It is the 2014 issure. I use the blue box pricing rate, there is a highter one, but I seldom use it because I have low overhead. Mike

As Neil pointed out, much of it depends on the vehicle. A box truck is easier to wrap than a VW Beetle.
Last year, we wrapped a Ford Transit Express. Wrapping it was far more difficult than a Ford Econoline. It took nearly 2 days. Because of the way it is constructed, we had to remove the front bumper assembly just so we could remove the headlight assembly. And forget about removing the front side door handles. Ain't gonna happen.
To maintain maximum profitability, make sure your wrap environment is comfortable. Wrapping a vehicle indoors in the middle of summer in 95f+ heat and high humidity is going to make you and the vinyl miserable. Until I can get a HO A/C unit installed in the truck bay, I'm intentionally pricing myself out of the market during the summer months.
