Has anyone experienced their plotter rollers getting very soft and easily damaged on their Gerber plotter? I have a GS15 Gerber plotter and the rubber roller has gotten very soft, even to the point of becoming sticky.

Take a look on Fleabay - I got new ones from both our Rolands a couple of years ago, when the rubbers broke off.
It's old age, as OP says... plus accidentally leaving them down with the pressure on when not in use.

Problem solved. That old 4B that I've been hanging on too had rollers that are interchangeable with the GS15 plus. It was the large material transport roller.
