I was given a 5' round saw blade to letter for someone who sells furniture. My husband sandblasted it & primered it with a can of Pittsburgh Paints (PPG) Rust Inhibitor primer, it is red. I am wondering if I can coat it with One Shot or Ronan lettering enamels. It says you thin it with paint thinner. This stuff is old, has a lead warning on it, & my husband says he does rims with it & everything & it is "the best".

Thanks!

Sounds like the old red lead stuff!

It is what they used to paint the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.

Good stuff!

Bobbie, that will likely be the best primer you've ever used.
