I only occasionally use my gerber edge setup. Switched from using the advantage software to flexi 7.0 because of a bug in my advantage software. However using flexi, when contour cutting to Gerber GS15 plus, it cuts erratically. Sometimes completes half a metre then cuts in odd places. Other times after 30 seconds cutting, I get flashing lights and beeping on the plotter. Any help would be appreciated particularly if anyone is using this, admittedly old, setup. Possibly a problem with port settings. Would anyone have a similar setup and could give me their port settings

I had a similar problem when I switched to Flexi- I couldn't figure it out...but mine was just a coincidence: the Theta belt was failing. You may want to check it. If you have noticed little plastic nubs laying about, that are the size of a pencil lead tip, that may be it. With that fixed it cuts true now. Still pauses for about 2 seconds every 15 seconds or so for an unknown reason, but cuts true at least.

Sorry- just read the port setting issue question. I'll check it when I get back to the shop this afternoon. I have the exact same set up.

I would check out the plot spooling options inside production manager to make sure they are correct
