Oh Yeah, Dave! They did Harry proud!! man, that was some time ago, Ratso...Harry Nilsson such a great writer/singer... We saw Tedeschi Trucks Band at the Burnaby Blues Festival...maybe 5 years ago, on the grass overlooking Burnaby Lake, they do move your feet! only have their cd REVELATOR ...but think i'll be getting this one for sure! thanks!

You might enjoy this new talent as well...from just 50 miles down the road from me in Athens Al...in my opinion best female rock voice since Janice Joplin.

i think if you look real hard at the band, and listen real good, you will hear THE ALMAN BROTHERS band.........do a little research and you find the TRUCKS family was in that band also. DICKY BETTS DWAYNE AND DARREL TRUCKS........

Yeah man, that's an awesome bunch!! Saw them a couple months ago, on TV, from that place out west that's like a cave....Red Rocks or something like that.
I heard Susan Tedeschi a few years ago, when she had a single out, and I thought, WOW, she sounds a LOT! like Janis Joplin....and she does.
Derrick Trucks is the nephew of Butch Trucks, who played for the Allman Brothers.... probably my favorite performers ever....except for Bob Seger, Three Dog Night, Linda Ronstadt, and a couple of others.

I just did a quick search of "Tedeschi Trucks" and there were HUNDREDS of live recorded shows that you can listen to or even download.

they have some really cool live concert collections- some of the recordings aren't great, but the taper subculture has gotten pretty sophisticated over the past few years- I downloaded a recent Keb Mo concert and a Blood,Sweat and Tears concert that I happened to attend- they were awesome quality- just like being there!
