A person posted an image of the "Sol" beer logo on a Mexican forum and mentioned how cool it was.
I had the time and inclination to digitize it. As soon as I started, though, I saw the errors in the rendering.
I did it anyway, just for fun.
What errors do you see?

Thing is, for those who have been involved in signmaking, it is very obvious.
BUT to the average person...they don't even notice stuff like that.
Maybe, sometimes, signmakers beat themselves up in order to create something so good in their own eyes, but which most viewers won't even appreciate??

Tricky call. I have misshaded before at times on purpose because it just looked better, especially when the light sources was coming from 10:30...or is it noon?

The first thing that jumped out at me was the light gray shadow. I've got a major peeve with shadows that have more contrast than the letter itself.

Obviously he took most of the day to paint the original. He painted the "O" first, around 11:30, the "S" around noon, went for siesta & painted the "L" around 4pm. OR ...... maybe Corona paid him to do it incorrectly LOL
