since most are printing now, vinyl and transfer tape is more expensive cause less of it is being sold.

Remember Paint? How easy was that.......... Dixie cups, Penetrol, jar of thinners. Lag screw in the tops of the cans.

Sonny, This is the end of the year and time to look at your overhead and adjust your prices for 2013. I was guilty a few years ago by ignoring the rising costs of materials. I was shocked when I found out how much I had to spend for everything from transfer tape to MDO boards. Everything was going up and I wasn't even paying attention. Coroplast had a 15% increase last July.
Time to check out that pricing guide from SignCraft magazine and stick to it. I had to raise my prices and my customers realize that everything has to go up eventually. Just look at the way gas prices, utilities and food have gone up the past 4 years.
Big reality check for me and time to prepare for next year. IF you have any down time around the holidays, take a day and really go over your prices carefully.
Sign-cerely, Steve

Anyone know where to get the clear transfer tape that has that rough texture to it? I prefer it over the smooth stuff as it's more pliable... and less likely to take the graphics back off again.
