Morning came extra early at our house today. We host a miniature horse rescue society on our property. www.pipsqueakpaddocks.com In January on New Year's day we took in a herd of seven horses. Three of them were in foal. Because the horses were rescues we had no history and no due dates to go by. We've been watching closely via web cam as have folks from around the world. This morning was finally the time for one of the little horses.
Phoebe and I were in the barn along with Bec and Janis. We had a front row seat. Phoebe took it all in - eyes wide. then she was off to school - after grampa cooked up some pancakes.
The filly (girl) was born without complications and was struggling to get to her feet within minutes.
To give a point of reference the momma horse is 32" tall at the withers (shoulder) . This baby is tiny. No name quite yet. Both are doing well.

Pretty realistic, Dan-and impressive texture with the Abracadabra Scultp. I'm not sure how you go about fixing them on the bed of the router though, before you put the hair on.
