Heres a slide show that shows just a teeny bit of what went into the Fox and Hounds Pub project...

Wiggles and giggles. What a great looking job Dan. Your sound track had me wondering if I was going to hear " look up...way up", and see Rustie and the Friendly Giant giving us a tour. It's amazing what you get when you put imagination / talent and hard work together.

What will you do for an encore? And just think, you get paid for having all that fun. Seriously, that must be a ton of hard work. Nice job as usual, Dan.

Thanks all.

No worries. There is always a better, more interesting and more challenging project right around the corner. I've now been at this business now for just over 43 years. While I've always been proud of the project just completed, there was always one better right ahead.

There certainly is always a lot more to learn. You can bet that I can hardly wait to push the bar just a little higher. We do have a very exciting project on the horizon that will do exactly that.

Just imagine what is next. It is almost time to turn the page and start the next exciting chapter...

At times I will tell a friend that I'm on a sign site that has some of the best signmakers around...then I have to add that there is this one guy named Sawatzky who is probably the best on the continent...then I rephrase...well maybe the best in the western hemisphere...Im relunctant to go global because I don't know much about what's happening on the other side of the world.

Sure is nice to have clients that are willing to spend money on ambiance. Our local bar keeps would take a building with painted walls, hang a deer head over the bar and call it done.

I've really, really wanted to do a themed restaurant more than 30 years. We got some enquiries but it never came together. But the wait meant that when the project finally came we were ready. I now finally had the skills and tools to do a good job.

The MultiCam office project we did last year was the final stepping stone. This restaurant client had watched my blog and that job as it came together. When we first met they asked for a tour of the MultiCam office. We also toured Giggle Ridge and spent some time in my office (also highly themed projects) All that built the confidence in our abilities that allowed this client to give us carte blanche on the restaurant project.

Without a doubt this restaurant project will now lead to something even more challenging and spectacular. I can hardly wait!

Very nice Dan. If you could get this project into a home or architectural magazine it could bury you in this kind of work. Nicely done!!

Have you thought about sending your blog/photos/slide show to a major architectural mag? They might showcase this for you.
