Any one lettering these new European looking Sprinter vans.. be extra Careful... they have Frig All Paint on them and are going to be rust Buckets. In my opinion, they are going to be like the Fords of the 70's...If you trim a stripe on them that little tiny cut line "Will Rust!" even the slightest rock chip cause rust to appear within a month or so, Even the new ones will rust on the Lot.... I'm speaking from experience. Never in my 35 years have I ever had this happen, and also I'm taking delivery of a NEW one this morning from a customer and he even relayed what I have been saying about them, his is new and they had to do paint repairs already, before I lettered it..he's quite nervous about it now...

Yeah, Neil, I've seen a few other new cars lately, with stone chips or abrasions of some kind. None of them appear to have any primer on them anymore.....and the paint coat is super thin also.

Thanks Neil, the last thing I need is someone blaming us for rust if our exacto scratches the paint.

"Frig All" is a new type of European Paint, I guess with the Euro being as weak as it is, the Dealerships had to start using "Frig All" to cut costs.

Ian I wonder if that's it? But you should at least be able to trust the clear to be heavy enough to trim with an exacto.

My Fellers rep came by last week and we asked about it. He says that one of the bigger wrap shops in the Raleigh area is using it as part of their marketing.

I've got a trailer wrap coming up. I may have to buy some just to try it out.
