Between 3/4" MDO panel painted with bulletin enamel and having HP Vinyl lettering versus a powdercoated steel panel with HP vinyl lettering which is the easiest to clean and better at being graffiti resistant? (I agree with earlier post, there is no-anti graffiti sign panels)
Thanks!

We paint and vinyl our MDO boards (oil based) then roller coat a water based graffiti coat called "Permashield". In Socal it is sold at Vista Paint. It works well and usually survives 2-3 tags. We produce all the signage for the L.A. County Parks and graffiti coat everything that leaves the shop.

I've had customers ask me how to vandal proof their sign. My answer is "Make sure your sign is insured!"

We've applied the Clear Shield stuff over paint and vinyl with success. Their process involves some type of cross linking catalyst to the clear. They have some strong citrus cleaner that seems to work well.

Ever considered laminating the MDO with Tedlar?
Here is an example....
If you are applying the tedlar laminate to a MDO board that has been lettered with cut vinyl graphics as this was, be aware that the laminate does not conform well and will result in bridging over the layers of vinyl. However, from a few feet the bridging issue is pretty much invisible.
We put the tedlar on the sign after a few neighborhood kids found nothing better to do with a can of spray paint. So far, its worked extremely well.
