My client loved the old school letters on the truck doors I posted and this fall wants old Bomber Girl type ladies painted on the sides and some other old looking iconic images like Lucky Strike advertisement etc. That's very exciting as I can't go back in time and really like retro and vintage styles. I hope it happens.

I love the WW2 nose art and betty girls. There
are a number of books out there now with
pictures on some of the fighters, bombers
and flight jacket art.

Keep us posted.

Nice work Bill. Mike Lavalee had a pinhead meet in
Rochester ,NY. about 12 years ago. He had someone
present a slide show on the nose art he pAinted on. the WW11 planes.

Those are good, Bill. What technique did you use for the figures of the girls?

thanks Barb for posting this. Nettie you are a great writer.
I was espcially blown away by the TINY details Dwayne Cannot was painting. He handed me a magnifuing glass
to see the details. He had eyes like an eagle to beBle to paint them without hinself using a magnifier.
