A friend sent me this and it has that unique component we see at Walldog meets - an entire town coming together to create something extraordinary.
The international sensation that Roger Ebert calls "The Greatest Music Video Ever Made."
"The Grand Rapids LipDub Video was filmed May 22nd, with 5,000 people, and involved a major shutdown of downtown Grand Rapids, which was filled with marching bands, parades, weddings, motorcades, bridges on fire, and helicopter take offs. It is the largest and longest LipDub video, to date.
This video was created as an official response to the Newsweek article calling Grand Rapids a "dying city." We disagreed strongly, and wanted to create a video that encompasses the passion and energy we all feel is growing exponentially, in this great city. We felt Don McLean's "American Pie," a song about death, was in the end, triumphant and filled to the brim with life and hope." - Rob Bliss, Director & Executive Producer

Dying city???? It was just reported that this town of Grqand Rapids is one of the hot spots of economic recovery.
Following that truck with the American flags just before the park with the pillow fight, on the left you will some signs I installed. And a restaurant that I did a makeover complete with matching tables and wall art..

The only critique is the lettering at the very end saying "experience Grand Rapids", they really could've used a letterhead to make it look outstanding.

It was very cool! We live about 15 minutes out of GR, but hey close enough! It is a pretty cool city...and with some neat "happenings". You all should come for a visit!

Same here... GR is a pretty nice city. Went to Design College there... and it's grown quite a bit since those days. There have been some industry that has shut down, or moved out... and the GR Press is probably going the way of the Do-Do bird....but that's true with most traditional newspaper outlets.

We are 30 miles north of this great city. I do my share of work there too. You can find anything you need here. Not to mention that there are two sign supply giants in Grand Rapids.
