It always takes a heavy toll when you lose a close friend, but when you're emotionally able, get another dog. My veterinarian told me that dog people are special and we need to show our love to as many dogs as we can in a lifetime.....

So sad. Nursed our eight year old lab last year for almost the entire year back from the brink. He's great now and well enjoy whatever years we have left together
