Customer thinks he needs a lasso rope border on his Sign. He sells Longhorns. I am a recent owner of flexi-sign pro. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to repeat the interior (a shape)details of the rope similar to typing (a character) on text on a path? I could then create the outer vectors of the rope then combine.

I have done this many times. First create the shape of the inside twist in one lay of the strand. Then select it and select the multiple repeats and set the distance to look like what you want, Then add an outline.
There is a way to assign that shape as a font and draw a line of what contour you need and then place it as text on the line followed by the outline, but the first way always seems easier and allows more custom kerning around turns.

Thanks Rick, That is exactly how I pulled it off then free vectored the curved radiduses. Also thanks, John Arnott for the ropey panel. My problem is solved. But if there are other ways of tackeling this others may wish to know.
