It was hot. It was amazing. It was hot. It was alot of work. It was hot, but it was a trip of a lifetime! Working with Dave Butler (he's the funny man) and Dan Sawatsky (Canada's Walt Disney) was a blessing and a priviledge. I learned alot, laughed alot and got to paint too!
Hats off to Bill and Jane Diaz for all the hard work and for making it a unforgettable experience. Meeting Doug Allan, Mark Yearwood, Sonny Franks, Bill Cornell, Dave Petri, Marcus and Manfred from Germany, and many more was such a blast. Jamming in the band was another walldog memory. I am still pumped from the trip.
I know you all want to hear stories about what went on with Jay and Dan. I'm sure they will be posting soon. If they don't, the rest of us will tell our side of the mural war. We were on the front line!
I will gather my thoughts and post a few stories later. I'm sure others will add their thoughts soon.
Still flying high from Pontiac!
Sign-cerely, Steve

WOW WOW WOW, the only words to describe the whole experience! What a great first meet for so many people, 4 of our sign friends got to experience it for the first time and they were just awed. The town was wonderful, the people were so incredibly helpful, and so appreciative of each and everyone of us, and treated us like kings! We just had to whisper a word, like water, and Bam, it was in your hands. They even came around each night, and picked up our paint, and all supplies and put it away. We had our OWN AREA, just for us walldogs, to sit under a tent, with drinks, music, and a "dog House" to keep anything in, so fun! I loved seeing so many new faces, and seeing all the old friends too! Tom & I are still on a "high" ! Missed seeing alot of people that were hoping to come, thats too bad, but since these keep getting better, know there will be more! But Bill and Jane and boys....this was a meet hard to beat! Thanks again, I am sure you might get sick of hearing this from everyone! Kat of tomkat...

Yeah, that Butler is good at making all of these little doodads on the computer. He then sits back and does the Butler chuckle while everyone paints a bazillion circles and orange slices.
I left a dot out just to show him and painted a State of Oklahoma in there.
