Here is our Weather Channel forecast for this evening.....

Tonight: Snow showers tapering to some flurries overnight. Wind chills approaching -15F. Low 1F. Winds NNW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of snow 30%.

Last Sunday was the first day above freezing in 26 days.

I've lived here long enough now where I can tell how cold it is by the general numbing of the body....fingers first! This morning I guessed it has to be about 5 with feels like close to -10F and I was right! Only a few more weeks..er I mean months left!

Here, if it's minus 30F school buses don't run. Unless there is a wind chill, then they might stop running at minus 20F. No joke.

I was looking at a map today and it said Labrador City, -17c, extreme cold.
Had to laugh because I was thinking it was a real nice day and was glad the cold snap has broken

Well, we just got a second hit of snow this morning. Normally we don't get anything until late February or early March and even then its not much. This global warming thing has me disappointed.

To night we're looking at a low of 17f. By Saturday we'll be looking at a high of 67f. One thing is for certain. If the weather has you bored around here, just wait a few minutes.

Rick...It's going down to 18F here in NC Florida, for the next 2 nights. That is bitter cold for these parts. It's that darn global warming acting up again.
