Jess (my daughter) and I are spending the week at a big agricultural trade show this week. Here is our web page Thanks are due to my son Jeremy for all his assistance in creating the web site. We are using Drupal and a modified Dreamtemplate. I still have some cleanup to do in a couple of the galleries, but it spells out our new idea, and showcases our passion for photographing rural Saskatchewan. By the end of the week we will know if it is time to fly with the dream or bury it and move on. Whatever the case we are managing to pass out quite a few Kel-T-Grafix and Ruby Blue Photography cards and info as well, so the show should reap some results regardless.

Thanks, what an encouraging way to start day two. Everyone seems quite touched and impressed with the idea. Their cheques will convince me even more.

Day two, and I'm worn out already! It was a good day, very positive responses and feedback. Its always a good thing when you are in a tradeshow with hundreds of exibitors and people say "Oh, Your the ones...." so I guess people are telling their friends.
Again I really appreciate all the support both here on this forum and behind the scenes. Letterville is a good town to call home.

BTW - Can you see why they call Saskatchewan Land of the Living Skies? The greatest thing about photography in Saskatchewan is that there is such contrast between seasons, and we have wonderful late afternoon light. That's my favourite part, playing with warm light and shadows!

Very nice Kelly. Knew who had it back in Moncton.. You should actually run to a publisher. It smells like a book to me!

Thanks again. Sonny and Donna, I was just referring to the fact that we would know by the end of the week what type of reception we were going to have. It's been overwhelmingly positive. I'm guessing there will be payback for at least a couple of years to come for all three businesses.

Kelly, You shouldn't be surprised at the effect your families attendance at the event will have. When you least expect it the calls and e-mails will come. The first ever baseball game as you know was just the beginning. As a veteran of many conventions (one of the people at the booth) with four different companies. I can tell you the first response is a thrill. Even a little one. One of the companies I marketed for gave me the opportunity to help them change from a regional operation to an international provider of metal letters and ornate architectural forms. Many miles of driving, flying and trying to remember the names of contacts.
Build it and they will come...
Good luck, you all deserve it.

Kelly, you and Jess are capturing the essence of Saskatchewan in truely beautiful and unique images.
I would go further than Fergie's suggestion of just a book. Postcards, calendars? Do talk to a publisher. Also to your Provinces' Department of Tourism, even if it's only a link to your site.
Steve Parish's photography is everywhere here in Australia. He put Queensland on the map to start. Your images are right up there!.
