I don't know if Raymond's heard the news yet, but Dan says he has an automatic tool changer.

However, a stealthy backstage excursion showed there's more to meet the eye. Our fearless roving reporter, probing under the HDU dust, uncovered a carefully concealed tool changer graveyard that bore a striking resemblance to a pile of broken lobster claws.

 -

Cheer up Raymond! What Dan really has is an automatic tool destroyer!

I'm not very mechanically minded to say the least. And that would be an understatement. Fixung mechanical and complex things is not my strong point.

Back a while ago we were having a little problem with our tool changer. Our machine was destroying tool holders on a regular basis. And I was replacing them just as fast. Thats something I could do.

My tech did quite a number of things trying to solve the problem. Turns out there was nothing wrong with my machine. The cut in switch on the compressor was dialed in a little low and it turned on a little too late feeding my machine low pressure at those times.... a hard to duplicate event when everything was quiet when we were working on the machine.

One little twist on the control and its worked flawlessly ever since. But the pile of tool holders is still there.

Funny that we never heard anything about that before, huh? So, just what else goes wrong that we don't know about. Don't tell me there are problems in paradise.

Surely Dan revealed all the mistakes in the workshop this past weekend.

Thanks Harding. The check is in the mail.

Raymond,

Dan pulled the doctor routine on this and buried the mistakes. We disinterred the pile.
