Today, my wife, daughter, and I had doctor's appointments. We lined up three consecutive slots, closed shop early and headed over there together.
I thought I could be efficient by finishing some shop drawings on my laptop while babysitting in the waiting room. Silly me! Have you ever tried to work with a grandkid sitting on your keyboard? It's a good thing Dell makes tough computers.
These are my employers.
My granddaughter and daughter taking a break at work.
I know my income would go up and I could produce more in less time without these distractions, but for me it just wouldn't be worth it.
