I was a math major at George Mason in 1969 and 1970 before I moved back to Texas. Gotta’ go with the Pats.
Historical vignette from the period: The campus police chief’s name was John Law. No kidding.
Historical vignette number two: There was much debate at the time between the Ford and Chevy camps regarding the relative merits of the Mustang Boss 302 and Camaro Z28. Chevy changed the body style in 1970 to what I swear bore a striking resemblance to a giant frog. My Chevy fan friends said I was just prejudiced. One day, as my sister and I pulled into the campus parking lot, we spied a spanking new green 1970 Camaro with the personalized tag: Ribbit
