So far, pages do seem to load a little faster. Tabs are nice although Firefox came up with it first.

I'm still poking around checking it out.

Thankfully it's no longer available for the Mac....makes the right choice easier!

Sorry, I can't help myself.

One thing is for certain, if MS wants people to switch from Firefox, they're gonna have to add an "ad blocker."

No, ad blocker. IE already had an pop-up blocker.

I do like IE's new "anti-phishing" addition. I wonder if that is similar to Firefox's script blocker.

Editted to add.....

It appears that IE7 has "borrowed" its anti-phishing from Trustwatch a bit.

So far loving this new browser.

You can say what you want about IE. I was a hardcore Netscape fan forever. What happened to Netscape? Can we say Firefox Internet Service?

Ad blocker? Microsoft made a deal with Claria/Gator to leave them off the offenders list (as did Symantec). What blocker would be useful if it leaves off the worst offender?

MS is proof positive that ya don't need a quality product to be successful. It all boils down to marketing.

I used to love Netscape, but Netscape 8 really sucks. It takes my computer a good 5 minutes (not exaggerating!) to load the thing. I finally had enough of it and started using Firefox. Opera isn't bad either, but it's quirky sometimes. I may give IE 7 a whirl.

Concerning an "ad blocker", Firefox users should know what I'm refering to. I hate these little ads that clutter up a page. I can right-click on it and tell Firefox to ignore any add from that site. Those Google ads are a prime example. I had forgotten how many were on the sites I frequent until I went back to tryout IE7. I didn't even know there were Google ads here on the BB until now.
