hey porter paint users....you know how you can add a drop of one shot to west systems and it will color the epoxy...can you add a drop of porter acryllic latex or will it be an issue because its water based not oil???? just wondering before i mess anything up. i need to epoxy around the edges and thought i'd be a little further ahead if i could color the epoxy.
thanks in advance!

I wouldn't without calling West Systems and asking them. You can't add latex paint to PB Resin so it may not be a good idea to add it to Wes System.
They did send me info about priming over partially cured epoxy and had acceptable results. You can call them and they will fax you the sheets on their tests.

You can get paint pigments formulated for epoxy use. A few years ago a friend requested some pigment samples for blending with epoxy. He got about a pint of each color and gave me some. It works great but I only use a few drops at a time. The minmum order is huge.
Oneshot seems to work just as well otherwise I would be tempted to buy a barrel of each color and try to sell packaged kits.
