Hi Heads. Many of you might remember my daughter, Rachael Audelle Warfield. She is 17 years old today! At this time in 1987 I was re-enacting Kirstie Alley's "Exorcist" scene from "Look Who's Talking"!
The doctor laid Rachael on my chest, and immediately she turned her head and looked me in the eye. She's been a challenge ever since. I used to call her Pookie because she was rather leaky.
Rachael has to go to school, Vo-Tech, and work today. She is in a bad mood and she thinks that nobody cares. She misses her father, who passed away almost 10 years ago. She has a family of two brothers who drive her crazy, and a Mom who probably nags her too much. She didn't get her driver's license this year after trying two times.
She wants to be a police officer or a counselor when she grows up. Although she enjoys painting at meets, she won't pursue the sign trade. But to me, anyone who can nearly get a ticket from driving a golf cart at a meet is certainly an honorary Letterhead. She is a hard worker and a big help to me.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHAEL!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you have a great one. Come down south in April and we can celebrate your birthday then, if not then we could in August when everyone is up there.

Happy Birthday Rachel! I know being a teenage can be tough sometimes, but remember you have many things to be THANKFUL for...you live in the USA (not Afghanistan ), you have a family that loves you, you are young, beautiful and have so much of your life to look forward to and SO many possibilities! ENJOY your day and have fun!!!

Have a happiest birthday, Rachel! Life comes in many packages, it's just how yu open them, when you open them and whom you share to enjoy them with is what counts! Your Mom certainly has opened up the door to a great big world out there for you. Learn as much as you can, and take a little adventure, just be sure to keep safe and sound as you have your whole life ahead of you. I can tell by your smile how much your family loves you! Be good, and Bless you on your big day. (my son Arthur,16, loves art and wants to go to tech school to build race cars). Well... we'll see! (last year he wanted to be a chiropractor, and four years ago, a pastor!) Keep us posted, enjoy your brothers, lock your diary!

My son will be 16 in 6 weeks. My teen years were too many brain cells ago to remember very well... but even if my adventures weren't all excellent... I must say I sure have a lot of excellent adventures that did survive in my memory banks. Have an excellent year!!
