Update from Jeff Ogden. Jeff left a message on my service while I was out yesterday. He just got his phone service back since Hurricane Jeanne came thru Gainesville. Hopefully Jeff's power will be back online within 3 weeks. Jeff was concerned about everyone getting a room during the meet.Please post here or email me if are having difficulty locating a room. Jeff will seek out more lodging if there is a need. I was able to contact Robbie Rucker at Festival Signs and he has power,so the meet is still on despite 3 hurricanes coming thru the area. Looking forward to seeing all of yall! Judy

Thanks Judy...got our power on tonite thanks to some out of state crews that helped out. Makes you want to go out and shake their hand for coming down here to do that.
The world is pretty strange sometimes...we got ice and water at these pick up stations while the power was out, and guess where the water came from ? Canada ! And I live just a few miles from some of the largest fresh water springs in the world, but this water in bottles traveled 1500 mile to get here !?!
Really there isn't that much damage around our area...mostly trees on power lines. I hope the other florida folk are doing OK....
I'm chomping at the bit to get this meet under way...it will be good to see everyone. If you haven't made room reservations yet, call me if you want me to find a room for you, the sooner the better, 'cause of the Gator game. That was supposed to be an open weekend, but Charlie rearranged the schedule. Or was it Francis?

RATS! Guess I will HAVE to stay Alive for at least (1) One more year to get to see ALL of my friends again.
What a great purpose to hang in there!
My burage of test for liver transplant coupled with Bobbie's Cancer treatments(not to mention them storms) is the ONLY reasons we are not going to see ya'll.
