I was blessed that my Dad and I were both there with her to hold her hand as she 'went home'to be with her Lord.
Thank you all for your prayers,kind words and support through this difficult time for me and my family.
She made it through her and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary, and we had her through the New Year.
Most importantly, we had her home with us, and that was her wish as well as ours. She died in her own room with those she loved with her, now I understand how special that really is.

I am very sorry to hear your Mom passed. Take care of your self and do what is best for you right now.
I spent yesterday with my Mom and she had a Chemo treatment today. We have been talking a lot more lately. Being a cancer survivor too helps as there are some things my sister just does not understand. The raw emotions that go with it.
Glad you got to say goodbye. But you will see her again.

I am so sorry to hear about this. It gave me flashbacks when my dad passed away, he also was in Hospice. You're right who ever you love call them and say hello or anything, you just never know when it's our time. My condolences to you and your family.

There is a lot of comfort that comes from being there as they cross over. As great as the loss is it is a great thing to be with a loved one at that moment, it's a cherrised memory.

Sorry you are having to go through this A. Many of us have been in your shoes so we know what it feels like.
Some days are easier than others. On the good days, I share my fond memories of my dad openly with Cody. He talks about his grandpa like he's met him. Dad passed away before Cody was born.
So sorry you have to bear this cross, and yet feel good that your Mom was with loved ones, as that is so important. We all realize how much letterville is right beside you also. Hopefully you will let the peace flow through your heart as it is there for you from our Lord who peace and love surpass all understanding. Take care, enjoy and share the memories, and they will stay alive in you and your family.

may you find your strength in knowing she is in a much cooler place than us! unfortunately that never seems to totally take away the pain from knowing we can't physically touch or see them. keep you energy open and you will feel her presence. i view our physical body as just a temporary host in this life for our energy...energy is extremely powerful and soothing. you are in my thoughts.

So sorry here as well. My mom passed away in June, all of the kids made it down here to be with her when she went to heaven. I know they are in a better place. God Bless.
