I have a local signshop do my digital printing. I guess if I was in a bind, I could have them cut vinyl for me as well. But it would kinda cut into my profit margin. Maybe you can lease to own a plotter. You just got to get a new one right away.

If you were a friend living two towns away so we were not competing for the same clientele, and you called and asked if we could cut vinyl while you hung out and you were bringing lunch, I'd help in a flash.

I sold all our equipment and now using Signs 365 for all print and cut vinyl. The quality and turn around is great.

Alicia, yes I will be looking for a plotter ... preferably used, but need to get some jobs going right now. Juggling so much right now.

Stien, I have an old Roland printer/plotter. It's toast. Would take too much $ just to even know if we can resurect it at all. I'm over it, quite frankly. LOL

Rick, how I wish you were my neighbour. I am not so competitive anymore. I would certainly not steal any of your clientele, and I know you wouldn't mine. XO

Tom and Kathy, that's pretty much what I want to do. Many have recommended that I outsource to Signs 365, and I did. Happy with that so far, and don't mind not doing as much work either. LOL BUT, I wouldn't mind a plotter for those quickie jobs. Used one, and downsize to a 30" I think. I am wondering about ordering printed cut vinyl letters from Signs 365? Do printed cut letters hold up?

If it saves you any money, I've never gone over 24" vinyl cutter and only very rarely wish I had a bigger one. Saves on inventory as well.

Dave, I think I'll take your advice and get a 24" plotter at some point.

I did use Signs 365 for my cut vinyl lettering job, and it worked out great. So now I don't feel so pressed to find something so quickly.

Glad to have the BB back.
Love you folks here!
