Things are sure feeling different in a hurry. Life as we knew and loved is suddenly changing dramatically within the space of a few days. It feels weird to go into a grocery store and see rows of empty shelves. Suddenly shaking hands and even giving a hug to a close friend is not the safe thing to do.
I've had a couple of trips suddenly cancelled. Projects on the design board and in negotiation are all off indefinitely.
Thankfully, in our shop work continues with enough projects underway to keep us busy for a couple of months yet. We have most of the supplies already on hand and are stocking up on what we will need as best we can.
As per the government suggestions we are hunkering down and going into town as little as possible. It is early days yet but I believe things are going to get a lot tougher in the weeks ahead.

Nothing here for me has changed. Construction and all phases of trucking is still going on. I even have a Dragster car in my regular garage I have to letter/stripe. I just had a guy drop off his propane truck. He really needs it done now. Now on the other hand, a couple of months ago, my husband came down with a really bad flu. Don't know what it was, he may have picked it up from some European tourists that looked through his scope while in Yellowstone Nat. Park a few days before. I didn't sleep with him while he was sick, but with a few precautions, I didn't get sick. So wash your hands after you get home from being in public. Wash with soap and water any food product that you are going to eat such as a apple. No salad bars! No free tastings of cookies etc. You gotta treat any object the public has contact with to have a few bad microbes living on it. Simple science.

Staying safe and keeping busy with some fun projects.
Planning any trips in to town for supplies to a minimum.
The pond is half thawed (or half frozen, depending on how you see things). The daffodils have broken through the dirt, and the red wing black birds have returned.
Luckily things have been slow. Today is day 17 of coming down with Covid19. I Feel fine now. I have 2 big events cancelled that I did a lot of signage for. I hope to get paid, at least enough to cover supply expenses. The sun was out today,, high of 45, so I got some yard work done. I’m glad with the sign business, I keep on hand at least 3 boxes of disposable gloves. I’ve been wearing them, and washing them (it saves a lot on the harshness of all that soap &water on the skin.)

Sorry you were sick with this thing but it's nice to hear from someone who has already come out of the other side of Covid19. Just hearing about it constantly approaching and affecting more and more people is frightening at times.
