I would be one of those Dave.

My first meet was Walldog DeZsaZsaVoo in Kenlake Kentucky 1999. We have gone to at least one, and sometimes 3 or 4 every year since.

I am afraid to try to list them, because I am sure I would leave out at least one that was just as special as the rest.

Our first one was in 2005 - Mezzepa at Mike Meyers
Then we got hooked up with the Walldogs and have been doing that.
I can't remember the years - but we were at Sam Sanfilipo in Alabama a few years back
Mike Feig and Jake Snow near Gatlinburg.

The Raaps are having one Aug. 16,17 & 18 of this year! We would love to have you all! [Smile]

I'm with Don:

I forgot. Jill’s Mars meet. That was the first time I helped paint a mural (workied on the Foodland Mural)
And introduced to hand carving- thank you Joe Cieslowski.
So many fun projects at that meet.

First one was in Orlando - can’t remember the name.

Then Mazeppa 1999 - that one was awesome. (I mean they are all awesome)

Kings Bay GA, Duck soup (Pat King) Mark Fair’s , one on the west coast of Florida, another one in Alabama, two more times in Mazeppa and I hosted 2.

I’m sure I’m missing some...

Oklahoma Bash at Mike Jackson's (1982)
Raymond Chapman's (1983)
Memphis, TN (1984)
Waco, TX (1994)
Denver, CO (1995)
Head West Walldogs, Lodi, CA (2006)
Picnic at the Ranch (2006)
Cincinnati Zoo (2006)
Pontiac Walldogs (2009)
There was also an annual spring meet in Oklahoma City that I attended a few times.

I'm sure there's others but neither of my neurons are functioning at full capacity right now. If some of my dates are incorrect, it's not my fault they held the event in the wrong year!

I've also attended two classes held at Dan Sawatzky's and also two classes in Creemore, Ontario. I've also been to a couple classes instructed by Dave Butler.

I was on the way to a small meet at Raymond Chapman's in 2003 when my daughter called and said she was in labor with our first grandchild. We made a U turn at the next exit and met her at the hospital. I sort of missed that meet but I took that grandson over to ransack Raymond's studio about four years later. I don't know if Raymond's recovered from that visit yet and it might be what pushed him toward retirement.
