is there a way to print white on a clear that will cover a polished instrument panel? 365 can't do white on clear. I need something real durable.

The Gerber Edge can print white on clear. Or any other color for that matter.

We're screen printing it. I think the durability will be greater and the look will be cleaner. Turns out that this instrument panel gets hot sometimes. I think the temperature would cause problems with the clear vinyl.

Ricks (both Ricks)..I understand the situation of printing white on clear or any other color of vinyl.

I am curious about the application/usage? Is it a vehicle instrument panel?

How would you screen print an instrument panel?

I'd love to see a kind of "How would YOU do this" explanation, similar to Don's recent post. I'm sure I'm not the only one that is curious. [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

It is an instrument panel that goes on a steam cleaning unit for carpets that's in a van. I'm told the metal gets rather hot and there was a clear print on it once that got bubbles and cloudy from the heat.

One of my now retired friends used to print small lines on surgical room instrument panels that required very tight tolerances and durability on stainless, so I think that's the direction to head.

The Edge print with an over laminate would somewhat cloud the brilliance of the gold platinum plating on this stainless panel. It'd be nice to hold that glow for a while.
