GOT HOME YESTERDAY.

This last episode was a beaute!

Getting ready for bed and a bit lite headed and short of breath ….. so figure a cup of coffee and relax, but it doesn’t get any better.

So I dial 911 and the operator asks what is the problem and I sa that I am not able to breath normal, she say “Relax, they will be there in a couple of minutes”

Les than 5 minutes later, they are here (station is just up the street) , !st guy says how are doing?

I said that I was OK now … Flashlight in the eyes and “No you are not, you are coming with us to St Jude hospital!”

Next thing I remember is that they are pumping blood into me.

I was bleeding internally.

So comes the tube up my nose and down into my stomach … nope not there! So they go in the other end and too much blood to see.

So next is an Xray and a CT Scan.

They decide that it is where the colon joins the small intestine.
By then it is late Saturday pm and they say “Just relax all day Sunday and on Monday we will irrigate enough to seewhat we are doing and cauterize it.

Monday the start irrigating and the bloody ‘stuff’, then normal “stuff”!

They declare it a success! And quit!

The problem was the diet they put me on … soft food!

BUT…

As a result … My son had to buy me some new pants!

I lost 62 pounds!

I am now almost slim and trim!

6 pants sizes!

Got home yesterday pm and still a bit weak and wobbly, but doing OK!

When I got home the ‘fridge was empty, my sonhad tossed out all the old stuff, so Chris (my LVN) took me to the supermarket and $156.74 later I am in good shape’

So I boiled up a dozen eggs and made Deviled Eggs!

We have always enjoyed our large dogs. One day I was lifting 40 pound bags of dog food into the car and said that I wanted to loose one of these. 30 something pounds so far, and I feel so much better. I can't imagine anything different for you. If you can maintain that 60 pound loss it will show in energy levels and move ability. Glad you're home.

Si it's important to continue improving your health...part of that is keeping the weight off...think of it like this...62 lbs is like carry around a 5th grader all day long...not good.

Glad you're home safe, Si... and keep that 60 lb. bag of concrete off! Once you've regained your strength, you'll feel decades younger without that extra weight.

Glad to see you're back on your feet. It appears that being part of letterville has healing properties...even going so far as raising OP from the dead. If we keep this up, one of these days they're going to start picketing Barb's home for being some kind of cult.

Good for you and good for your boys cleaning out your fridge. Next, have them clean out your closet and buy all new clothes,,,,,that fit you,,,,this way you can't gain all of the weight back,,,,,,cause then you'll have to go "Au Natural".
