Hello friends! It's been awhile!

This is for those that encouraged me to 'offer something' to my junk lovin' readers.

I really struggled with this one. I didn't want to offer something that would bury me into manufacturer mode, packaging in my basement. Parish the thought! Who can travel while doing that?! [Smile]

So what I came up with was actually quite simple... and solved a problem.

My readers wanted to make the old looking signs I was making for my own home. And now they can, with my old sign stencils line, for decorator DIY types!

My store is online. So my job is to create new designs, blog about them, and then they are sold in my store, managed and produced by another.

We currently have one large paint company carrying them as merchants, with us opening it up worldwide in the new year. eek...

So... this is what I have been working on for the last year. Thanks for the boot (ahem... Jay and Dan)... they appear to be doing well!

Other than that, it's been amazing, decorating my own home for my living. Crazy dream talk, isn't it?

Beautiful, as always Donna. You should see about being featured on some of the DIY shows. Fixer Upper and Design on a Dime are two that come to mind right away, the designers on these shows really love the look you present, and your unique angle and approach would fit right in

Checked my facebook yesterday and some of my friends are sharing your page, so you're getting some good coverage.

Aww, thanks so much everyone! I'm thrilled pro signmakers approve of my pretend signs! haha

You've all given some seriously great advice. Richard, I'm a Fixer Upper freak. Her style... I want her team working my house! I need to move to Texas me thinks!

I'm actually not pursuing anything that takes me out of the home right now. A sole parented teen needs his mom around, so what I'm doing now fuels the passion, brings in pay and helps others while being avail 24/7 for the one that really matters. Right now it's working! Who knows what may happen tomorrow... always open to new things. My freedom is just around the corner, so when it's time...

Tony, that's cool! Thanks for the heads up on that, I'll have to do more sleuthing around... haha

So as everyone bakes cookies and wraps presents, my front entry is currently pulled apart with paint cans and woodworking everywhere. Does it ever end? Never! Less fattening too. LOL

Merry Christmas, all! May your season be whatever you wish it to be!
