As you know, Fransciso has been undergoing treatment for Hodgkins Lymphoma. I spoke with his daughter. I won't go into details for his personal reasons. But at this moment, Franciso is having a very roguh time. It's the battle of and for his life. Also, he is not accepting any phone calls right now. A bit too much for him.

Cisco is a excellent human & wishing that all of our strength together of prayers & good vibes can heal his wounds & relieve his pains.

Can understand not wishing to talk with anyone it so hard to talk with your friends when ya have a battle like this because every word is taken differently.

Fight on Cisco fight hard, looking forward to seeing a brush in your hands again

Ya know, when I would work with Francisco, if I was going to leave for some reason, weather it be for food or bathroom, Franciso would always say, "Wait, wait, don't leave, I have to tell you a story." So if you get a chance look up into the sky and tell Francisco, "Wait, wait, don't leave, I have to tell you a story"

Hey Walldogs! Our friend Cisco needs our thoughts, love and prayers. His daughter Serena Vargas said her dad is on life support and they will know within a few hours whether there is a chance for him to get better or whether it's time to say good-by. We love you Cisco!

Just can't stop thinking about him & how's he doing!!
Just a little story to share with all of you...Ashley & Ben heard the news and tried to decide whether to tell Patrick or not. He is 4 and they wonder if he would even remember Cisco, only meeting him once a year. They described what was happening and how he was very sick and the little guy went over to the couch, put his little head down and started to pray. Makes me cry just thinking about it!! Cisco is such a kind soul and has touched a LOT of us here and even the littlest Walldog loves him and is praying for him. [Frown]

Cisco was always the first to arrive at a walldog meet when he was a project leader. His comment was, "Well you never know what you're going to run into."

People in Pontiac love him and still talk about him. They'd give him the keys to their house and offer to let him use their car or bicycle to get around.

He deep fat fried tacos at our house and nobody wanted to offend him by not eating them, because it was his Grandmas recipe ... but they were delicious.

Maybe our prayers will help pull him thru ...

Pray hard for this man he deserves it.

It's been so long ago, I believe I met him at a Mike Meyers letterhead meet. We talked some and it was all good. I'll say prayers tonight. Mick Samsel

I never personally met Cisco but my heart is heavy. Letterville brought many people together over the years on the online forum. Some felt like family even though we have never met. I pray Cisco pulls through. It was always a pleasure to watch his murals and videos. Certainly a colorful character.

I met Cisco at one of Mike Meters meets. Talking to him for the first time was no different than talking to a long time friend. Great guy, great talent. Pull through this Cisco. Your work isn't done here yet.

I also talked with her. I was at the market putting my groceries away in my truck and crying at the same time. Very sad news. It's gonna be a while before it really hits home with me. I just can't believe our friend is gone.

I'm recovering from major back surgery and this is the first time I've logged on in a couple weeks. I've had some good times with Cisco at several meets. He had a personality that filled the room. I'll certainly miss him.

Wow, just got word of this tonight, I'm very sad to hear this....he was a talented and great guy. [Frown]

I remember a story told to me while I was visiting our late friend Pat King and his wife Bobbie in Alabama in 2000.
Cisco had also stayed there during his cross country trip visiting other Letterheads.
Pat had asked Cisco to park in a particular spot, it was dark, and Cisco had no idea where that special spot was ....until sometime in the middle of the night.
Cisco had been soundly asleep for a couple of hours when he was awakened suddenly by the flashing of lights, the ringing of bells and a very loud and sudden train whistle!!! Cisco bolted upright and was terrified that he had possibly parked on railroad tracks!!!
What Pat had 'failed to mention' was that the train passed right through their backyard several times a day and once at night.

I am so sad to hear about Cisco.

I remember several years ago he visited here at my shop for a weekend. We took the ferry to Victoria, BC for the day. We walked around downtown and drank Canadian beer and looked at the signs. Also went to the Provincial Museum. We had a great time. I also took him on a VIP tour of our underground city. He took a misstep and put his foot thru the ceiling of a downtown business. What a great sign artist and all around good guy.

You will be missed my friend. Journey well.

Jackson
