Hi again guys. I recently bought a used Gerber Edge, but there are certain effects that I need to create (halftone gradients, mainly), and I have no idea how to do them. Any suggestions on where I can get training to use this software? I'm sure I could find plenty on Google, but I'm wondering if any Letterhead could make a suggestion, based on their own experience!

Thanks always,
Felix

Felix, I'm assuming you have Omega. Go to the fill tool, looks like a paint bucket, select "gradient" linear or radial. The rest is self explanatory. It looks like a lot of videos on Youtube.

Felix,
I still use Omega software, but had to wing it, as I didn't get any training from who I bought it from; if you find out where please drop me a note here or my email. Good luck and thanks!

p.s. I don't use an edge but still a gerber 4b! Can you imagine.

Hey Deb, yes I can. My breaks once in a while and I'm ready to buy a new machine and then it turns out it just needs a little spring or something cleaned off and it just keeps going. I don't use it as much anymore or I probably would get a new faster one.
